DREDGE

Fish by day—and do not look overboard at night

A dark solo journey across an archipelago: catch fish, rebuild your boat, and slowly discover what hides below.

DREDGE builds tension without relying on jump scares. By day you arrange fish in the hold, sell the catch, and plan your route. At night familiar water becomes hostile, and every light on the horizon turns into a questionable promise of safety.

What works

  • Superb atmosphere that constantly shifts between a cozy harbor and uneasy open water.
  • A compact, readable catch–sell–upgrade–explore loop.
  • The world tells its story through islands, fish, notes, and unsettling errands.

Where the line tangles

  • Fishing is deliberately arcade-like rather than simulation-heavy.
  • Once the upgrades are mastered, danger becomes more predictable.

Who is it for?

First of all, players who want a story, atmosphere, and a little sticky maritime dread. An almost essential stop for anyone who thinks fishing and a strong story belong in the same boat.

A rare fishing horror game where route planning, cargo space, and anxiety work as one machine.
